About Us
New Hope Learning Centers, Inc. is an academic counseling and remedial center dedicated to equipping children and adults with practical skills to develop their individual learning style.  The Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program is the cornerstone of New Hope Learning Centers, Inc.
Cyndi Deneson, Director of New Hope Learning Centers, is licensed by the Davis Dyslexia Association International as a Program Facilitator, and is the head Specialist for the Davis Association; training new facilitators worldwide.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling.  She has over 30 years of experience as a public and private school teacher, educational counselor, and learning problem specialist.  She is the mother of two adult children, who have gone on to be successul learners despite their dyslexic learning styles.
Paul Deneson is the Co-Director of New Hope Learning Centers.  Paul is responsible for the Business Management of the organization which includes marketing procedures, operational policies and planning programs.  He is also responsible for initial client intake assessments. Paul has completed the Fundamentals of Davis Dyslexia Correction® Workshop and the Davis Smybol Mastery® Workshop. Paul has over 30 years of experience in marketing, management and counseling.  Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Masters of Art degree in Counseling.  Paul and Cyndi have been married for 36 years.
Darlene Bishop is a licensed Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program Facilitator.  Prior to joining NHLC eight years ago, Darlene substitute taught for 13 years at a private high school along with volunteering at Camp Awana.  Darlene has earned a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree and has practiced as a nurse-supervisor in critical care units.  She taught nursing at the college level for 4 years.  She has been married to her husband, John, for 28 years; they have two grown sons who both teach math in the Chicago area.
Linda Johannes, as the Office Administrator, is the cheerful and helpful voice you are likely to hear when you first call NHLC.  She has been with us for over 5 years now.   As a picture thinker, Linda can help you understand the thought processes that make you or your child a dyslexic learner.  Linda has a 21-year-old gifted dyslexic son, and has been married to Mike for 12 years.
Margie Hayes came out of retirement to help individuals overcome the struggles associated with a dyslexic learning style.  After seeing the positive results her granddaughter experienced, Margie became a licensed Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program Facilitator.  She has been with NHLC since 2000 and holds Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  Margie has two grown daughters and eight grandchildren.
